ABS Service Solutions is a family owned Electrical_ Refrigeration_ Air conditioning and Commercial Catering Equipment, service and repairs company. ABS consistently delivers to diverse range of service, repair and maintenance solutions to public and private sector clientele.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrician to join our service team.
This is a diverse position where you will be responsible for service, maintenance and repairs across a range of domestic/commercial clients within private, corporate and government indoor/outdoor facilities.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your duties will encompass servicing a high quality and varied clientele base.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- General power and lighting repairs and upgrades
- Breakdown service, fault diagnoses, testing and commissioning
- Catering equipment repairs and service
- Ensure high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Quality workmanship while maintaining company standards and safety
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Provide technical support to a broad range of clients at professional level
- Provide training and support to apprentices
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Perform duties in and around the Townsville North Queensland area
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate for this position will be a passionate and results focused service electrician, who has experience in servicing domestic/commercial clients.
The key to success in this position is excellent technical skills accompanied by a strong service ethic; the following skills and attributes are highly considered.
- Current Queensland Electrical licence
- Current CPR/ LVR
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in domestic/commercial fields
- Demonstrated knowledge of Industry Standards
- Understanding of Safe Work Practices, OHSE Procedures
- Willingness to adhere to site appropriate procedures
- Good communication skills
- Strong sense of initiative, ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Possess confidence in personnel skills to make decisions
- Be committed to a long term career
