Cleaning Manager – EPS Clean (Essential Property Solutions Pty Ltd)
We're looking for an experienced Cleaning Manager to lead on-site operations across our construction and commercial cleaning projects in Brisbane.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Arriving on site before the crew to confirm access, conduct team briefings and allocate areas
- Participating actively in cleaning works (approx. 50–60% of time), with a focus on detail and high-value finishes
- Supervising and coordinating the cleaning crew throughout the day
- Liaising with site managers and builders to confirm instructions and approvals
- Identifying out-of-scope works, documenting variations, and escalating to the Company's administration
- Conducting quality control walkthroughs and directing rework before sign-off
- Submitting daily reports via the Company's approved platform (WhatsApp, Slack, ServiceM8), including areas completed, variations, issues, and hours worked
Project management responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all cleaning projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Monitoring budgets and hours against approved financial parameters
- Reviewing and evaluating incoming leads (including HiPages enquiries)
- Managing inventory systems for chemicals, equipment, and supplies
- Planning and maintaining cleaning rosters and job bookings
- Reviewing upcoming jobs and confirming resource allocation before commencement
- Training and supporting cleaning staff to meet EPS standards
- Maintaining professional communication with clients, the office team, and field staff
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a cleaning supervision or site management role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable managing crews, reporting daily, and working autonomously on site
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
