The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders / Mechanical Fabricators to join a high-performing team working on precision weldments used in dynamic and safety-critical applications.
This is not repetitive production work. Each project is technically challenging, requiring strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision pipe welding and fabrication to high standards
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and 3D models
- Fabricate complex tubular structures and mechanical assemblies
- Work closely with Mechanical Engineers on design and build processes
- Complete welds to strict quality and inspection standards
Participate in in-house welding qualification processes

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in pipe welding and fabrication
- Strong experience with GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Experience working with tight tolerances and intricate assemblies
Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly experience

Highly Regarded
- Experience with American Welding Society (AWS) codes (D1.1 / D1.3)
- Exposure to 6GR welding positions
- Experience with short circuit and spray transfer welding
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment (lathe and milling machines)
- Background in high-spec industries such as defence, aerospace, robotics or medical
Additional Information
Successful candidates will be required to complete in-house welding qualifications aligned to AWS standards, including full penetration weld testing and non-destructive testing methods such as X-ray and ultrasonic inspection.
