What we are looking for
We are looking for a leader, that trusts the process and believes in the importance of 1%ers. Someone with the capability to challenge, coach and confront to bring the best out in our people and deliver a high standard for the customer.
The role
Utilizing your experience and capability, this role is accountable for driving high performance of your frontline team, exceeding customer expectations and setting the tone on safety and standards. You will:
Ensure all team members and customer have clarity and that alignment is maintained with the wider business.
You will complete regular planning to meet customer demands and ensure service deliver outcomes are met with safety front of mind.
Successfully lead and manage a team based at the Distribution Centre to achieve profitable performance, superior customer outcomes and develop future supply chain managers. This includes unlocking the potential in our entry level team members and taking them on a growth journey towards their Best Version.
What are the key deliverables:
- Lead and drive performance, developing current and potential team members to grow and be their best version.
- Manage and monitor local performance outcomes.
- Participate and execute on all required meeting rhythms.
- Drive best in craft outcomes for safety, quality, compliance and people development.
- Execute the YGCC lean operating system.
- Drive best practice workforce planning including proactive recruitment plans, customer forecasting and effective onboarding.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience leading teams and managing customer relationships is key, coupled with your outstanding communication skills and proven experience on getting the job done. We need someone who can connect with people and can upheld standards and processes.
The successful candidate can work autonomously, take ownership for the role and have a team orientated approach. Critical to your success will be your ability to motivate others towards achieving outcomes and a strong sense for developing a continuous improvement culture
