The Role
This is a leading technician position. The step before supervisor. You'll run water damage restoration, structural drying and mould remediation projects independently across residential, commercial and insurance work in Cairns.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead sites from setup to completion
- Manage equipment deployment and monitor drying progress
- Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters and insurers
- Complete accurate documentation, photos and moisture mapping
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain team standards
- Work within clear SOPs and IICRC compliance frameworks
What You'll Need
- IICRC WRT certified (ASD/AMRT preferred)
- 3+ years restoration experience
- Comfortable with moisture mapping, Encircle and Job documentation
- Valid QLD licence and clean driving record
- Physically capable and reliable
