In this role, you'll:
- This role will see you lead the strategic development and assurance of foundational transport and freight models supporting long‑term planning and forecasting across NSW.
- You will drive contemporary modelling techniques, data‑led enhancement and prioritisation within a complex, evolving policy, infrastructure and demand environment.
- You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver robust, defensible modelling outcomes that inform investment decisions and support customer and community

About you
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in strategic transport or freight modelling.
- You’re recognised as a trusted technical leader, skilled at translating complex modelling assumptions and outputs into clear, actionable insights.
- You bring experience designing and enhancing foundational strategic models to strengthen forecasting capability and support evidence‑based decisions.
