STONEMASON – FULL-TIME

ITA Stone is looking for an experienced Stonemason to join our growing team.
We specialise in the fabrication and installation of high-quality stonework for residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney, working with natural stone, quartzite, marble, porcelain/sintered stone and other premium surfaces.
The Role
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of stone fabrication and installation, including:
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stone
- Fabricating kitchen benchtops, islands, vanities, splashbacks and custom stonework
- Undermount sink and cooktop cut-outs
- Edge profiling, mitres and detailed finishing
- Reading and working from plans, shop drawings and measurements
- On-site installation of stone benchtops and other stonework
- Completing joins and finishing work to a high standard
- Handling natural stone, porcelain/sintered stone and other materials safely
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop and worksite
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Stonemason
- Strong fabrication and installation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely handle and work with heavy stone products
- Current Australian driver's licence preferred
- White Card preferred
- bridge saw or other stone machinery experience is highly regarded

Pay: $58,236.54 – $70,000.00 per year
