Summary:
THE RACK'N STACK WAREHOUSE DARWIN PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess mid to senior-level experience in welding, contributing to the successful completion of various welding tasks while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks on various materials including steel, aluminium, and other metals as required.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 2-3 years in the building and construction industry.
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
