We are seeking a Test Lead to support the Program Test Manager on testing activities across different streams of work within the Finance Systems Transformation program. In this role, you will be working directly with the Test Manager, and will be part of a larger program management team for the test planning and delivery across different streams of work. As a hands-on Test Lead, you will be responsible for creating test scenarios and test cases. You will work closely with Finance experts to ensure that there is appropriate test coverage for the assigned stream of work and that quality outcomes are achieved through delivering value to the business.

-
Drive UAT & BVT: Take ownership of User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification Testing from a stream-level perspective, ensuring all entry and exit criteria are rigorously met.
-
Lead Test Creation: Spearhead the design and development of detailed, high-quality test cases and scripts, stepping in to execute complex scenarios alongside business SMEs when required.
-
Manage Defects: Facilitate daily defect triage meetings to ensure all bugs are accurately captured, prioritised, tracked, and thoroughly re-tested upon resolution.
-
Estimate & Plan: Provide accurate time estimations and scoping inputs for testing tasks and plans to keep timelines on track.
-
Track & Report Metrics: Monitor testing progress and deliver daily execution metrics (pass/fail rates, defect counts) to the Test Manager to support broader program reporting.
-
Support Frameworks & Hypercare: Assist with designing large-scale test automation frameworks and provide critical post-go-live Hypercare support.
What you’ll bring
-
Proven Test Leadership: 8+ years of experience as a Test Lead within large-scale transformation programs or multi-brand environments.
-
Finance Systems Expertise: Demonstrated experience testing complex finance applications and translating intricate financial business processes into executable test scripts.
-
Technical Toolset Proficiency: Hands-on experience with core testing and ERP tools, including Jira, qTest, and Tosca, alongside experience implementing test automation.
-
Hybrid Methodologies: Strong background working effectively across both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
-
Stakeholder & Task Management: Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail.
-
Industry Experience (Desirable): Prior experience within the Retail sector is highly regarded.
What you’ll experience
-
Hybrid Flexibility: Blend in-office engagement with work-from-home opportunities for a balanced work week.
-
A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
-
