CASUAL WAITER / WAITRESS — LINA ROOFTOP
Lina Rooftop is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Casual Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team in South Brisbane.
You’ll help deliver a welcoming and professional dining experience while working in a busy, fast-paced rooftop venue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive table service
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS
- Having a strong understanding of our menus, specials and beverage offerings
- Communicating dietary requirements and allergies clearly with the kitchen and management
- Serving food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Managing your section and communicating closely with the kitchen, bar and floor team
- Checking on guests and responding to requests throughout their visit
- Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining a clean, organised service area
- Processing payments accurately
- Assisting with functions, group bookings and venue setup
- Following RSA requirements and venue service standards
- Completing opening and closing duties
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Confidence managing a section during busy service
- Good attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest service
- A valid Queensland RSA
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Pay: $26.44 – $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
