Specialising in diversified financial services and entrepreneurial ventures for blue chip clientele.
The Role:
A hands-on, multifaceted role where you will be managing system administration and advanced technical support.
- Deliver expert technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Identify the root cause of issues and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to specialised teams as needed.
- Oversee and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure system performance and security.
- Monitor system performance and apply necessary enhancements.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Maintain and enhance network security, performance, and reliability
- Provide training and guidance on IT systems and best practices to users.
- Develop and maintain detailed IT documentation, such as user guides and technical manuals.
- Work with other departments to understand and fulfill their IT requirements.
- Ensure project completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols and procedures.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
This is a Hybrid working environment : 3 days WFH / 2 in office
Ideally, you will have:
- At least 5+ years in a Systems Admin & Tech Support Engineer role a complex / enterprise environment
- Solid background in Windows/Linux OS, networking, and server administration
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS preferred)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), remote desktop applications, and issue tracking software
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases and scripting
