About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced GP with an interest in drug and alcohol medicine to join our team at Tuggeranong, ACT on a sessional basis. You’ll deliver frontline care to patients accessing our drug and alcohol services – including Opioid Maintenance Treatment (OMT) – within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
– Sessional commitment – minimum ½ day per week, with scope to grow
– Drug and alcohol assessment, management and ongoing review
– Opioid Maintenance Treatment (methadone, buprenorphine and buprenorphine/naloxone)
– Collaborative care with nursing, allied health and pharmacy partners
– Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
– Sign-on incentive available for the right candidate
What we’re looking for:

– FRACGP or equivalent
– Interest in drug and alcohol medicine (OMT prescriber status welcome – we’ll support you to obtain or maintain it)
– Experience working with vulnerable populations
