**Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic**
to join our team. If you are looking for a role that offers variety, independence, and the opportunity to work on a broad range of heavy diesel equipment, we'd like to hear from you. About the RoleThis is a hands-on position working on a wide variety of heavy diesel equipment, both in the workshop and on customer sites. No two days are the same.
You will be responsible for carrying out:
* Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
* Mechanical diagnostics and fault finding* Repairs and breakdowns
* Major component replacements
* General maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment
* Accurate completion of service reports and job documentation
* Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety Equipment
you will work on includes, but is not limited to:
* Heavy Trucks
* Trailers
* Earthmoving Equipment
* Loaders
* Excavators
* Dozers
* Graders
* Screening and Crushing Equipment
* Other Heavy Diesel Machinery
What We're Looking For:
The successful applicant will possess:
* Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
* HR Licence (desirable but not essential)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
* Demonstrated experience working on a variety of heavy trucks, trailers and earthmoving equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication and organisational skills
