About the role:
We are seeking four Policy Officers to join our team to contribute to health system reform across Victoria. In these roles, you will provide high-quality research, analysis, and strategic advice to shape the future of public health, community programs, and legislative frameworks.
We are currently recruiting for roles across three key focus areas:
- Legislative Strategy: Stewarding health acts, policy & regulations to ensure they are fit-for-purpose.
- Population Health Policy & Reform: Working on the big picture initatives, prevention systems, and system-wide improvements.
- Community Health Programs: Modernising local community care initiatives and designing community health programs.

About you:
Can you demonstrate the following?
- Researches and develops recommendations in a specific field of expertise
- Develops and implements operational policy which impacts the immediate work area
- Contributes to strategic policy development within a specific field of expertise
- Manages projects, usually under limited direction
- Contributes expertise to a team working on complex projects
- Prepares project scopes and briefs within broad parameters
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
- A tertiary qualification in field related to Public Health, Public Policy/Administration, Health Administration, Business Management, Community Health, Law or Regulation is Desirable
- Knowledge and experience in government/public health, community health or project management is desirable
