What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in case planning for children and young people, preferably within Foster Care or Out-of-Home Care
- Knowledge of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998
- Experience supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, disability, or complex behaviours
- Strong analytical, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders

What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a caseload of children and young people, working closely with their families and carers to achieve positive outcomes
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and review individual case plans
- Coordinate intervention strategies, including risk assessments, referrals, and program applications
- Prepare reports, legal documentation, and support child protection-related court processes where required
- Facilitate access to services and monitor their effectiveness in meeting individual needs
- Advocate for children and young people by ensuring their voices, goals, and wellbeing remain at the centre of care planning
