The team
ASIC's Registry Operations team manages some of Australia's most critical business registers, serving millions of companies and business names. We support users across the economy, from businesses and professionals to government and the public - helping them register, manage and access vital information, and providing assistance at every stage of their registry journey.
The role
As a Manager, Compliance and Business Readiness, Registry Integrity and Compliance - Registry Operations, you will lead a small team responsible for business engagement and readiness activities to deliver registry integrity and compliance outcomes through the RegistryConnect program.
You will be accountable for:
- Providing strategic product leadership to deliver and integrate RegistryConnect products into Registry Operations, aligning with ASIC's regulatory objectives and transformation outcomes.
- Acting as the accountable business Product Owner of registry compliance processes, supporting end-to-end delivery from discovery through to operational handover and benefits realisation.
- Identifying, managing and advising on emerging risks, dependencies and regulatory impacts, providing clear guidance to senior stakeholders.
- Leading the successful embedding of products into business-as-usual operations, ensuring effective processes, controls and performance measures.
- Representing Registry Operations as a senior business voice across program teams, Digital, Data and Technology, policy areas and external stakeholders.
- Driving business requirements and ensuring integrity, compliance and regulatory outcomes are delivered, while acting as an escalation point for key program deliverables.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in IT, business, digital delivery or a related field, with strong understanding of ASIC Registry business processes and operating environment.
- Proven ability to analyse complex business requirements, solve problems and deliver practical solutions in high-priority, fast-paced environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience influencing across all levels and balancing business and IT priorities (Product Owner experience desirable).
