The position
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the engineering and manufacturing industry. Working closely with experienced estimators and internal teams, you will gain hands-on experience in estimating, customer support, and project administration.
Key Responsibilities

Assist estimators with the preparation of quotations and tender submissions

Reply to expedite notices and assist with customer follow-up enquiries

Download and distribute purchase orders from customer portals

Maintain and update estimating and project documentation

Liaise with internal departments including engineering, procurement, and production

Provide general administrative support to the estimating team

Learn and develop knowledge of conveyor systems and materials handling equipment
About You

Minimum Year 12 education
-
Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment

Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems

Motivated, reliable, and eager to develop a career within the industry
Candidates with a Trade background who are interested in an opportunity in Mechanical Estimating are also encouraged to apply
