Support Worker | Sydney
Extra Care is a nurse-led NDIS registered provider supporting children, young people, and their families across Sydney. We provide one-to-one, consistent support.
We're looking for people who want to build real relationships.
What the role involves
We offer a range of casual positions across:
- Weekday support — morning and after-school shifts
- Weekend community support
- School holiday programs
All support is delivered one-to-one, tailored to each child's goals, and coordinated closely with families and allied health teams.
Who we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you're a current student or recent graduate in Nursing, Allied Health, Education, Special Education, or a related field, and you're looking for meaningful hands-on experience working with children and families.
You'll be a good fit if you're warm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy working with kids. Strong communication matters and so does showing up consistently.
Prior disability support experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
Where we work
We currently support families across Ryde, Menai, Tempe, Alexandria, Waterloo, Coogee, Kingsgrove, and surrounding suburbs.

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $32.88 – $42.23 per hour
