Keys Medical Centre Pty Ltd runs several clinics in two locations in Melbourne's South-East and the role involves rotation amongst both locations. Keys Medical Centre is a premier healthcare facility located in Keysborough South VIC 3173, with over 10 GPs, and a fast-paced atmosphere. Greens Medical Group is a state-of-the-art modern clinic located in Dandenong South VIC 3175, running multiple healthcare services, including Dandenong Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.
About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist or 2IC, you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing patient appointments, and ensuring smooth clinic operations in our General Practices. This is a fast-paced position requiring excellent communication, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Handle phone and email inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing.
- Support clinical teams with administrative tasks.
- Take on responsibilities assigned by Management and assist with implementation and operation at the front-line patient-facing level.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a medical reception role (required).
- Afternoon and evening availability (required).
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (Medical) or similar (desirable).
- Exceptional customer service and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in medical software (preferrably Medical Director /PracSoft and/or Best Practice) and office applications.
- Ability to thrive in a busy healthcare environment with a positive, empathetic attitude.
- Must have availability to work Monday to Friday.
- Someone for whom Medical Reception is a long-term goal.
