Advance your consulting career and join the FinXL Network Engineering practice as a Technical Lead for a pivotal government engagement. This position mirrors the technical depth of a Senior Network Engineer but introduces a crucial layer of design leadership and team mentorship. You will serve as the hands-on technical anchor for the engineering team, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical financial infrastructure while helping shape network design. Support key long-term programs of work! Cisco ACI, ASA, and F5. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring, and support to the team
Contribute design and architectural insights to network initiatives
Act as a senior escalation point for complex network incidents
Oversee network capacity planning and continuous performance monitoring
Build, configure, and maintain Cisco ACI and APIC environments
Deploy enterprise firewall policies and manage Cisco ASA security configurations
Design, deploy, and support F5 LTM and GTM appliances
Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience within Cisco ASA, ACI, and APIC environments
Deep expertise configuring, designing, and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances
Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring
Demonstrated capability in people leadership, mentoring, and network design
CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded
Familiarity with automation tools and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
