Key Accountabilities Key accountabilities for the role include: • Ensure Solution Architectures are compliant with customer's Security Policies, Standards, Patterns, & Principles with deviations appropriately managed using customer risk management frameworks and processes. • Perform a Security Quality Assurance function and support operational readiness processes. • Comply with customer Business Principles, Values, Code of Conduct and policies and procedures. • Mentor Security Architects. • Produce security architecture patterns and guidelines. • SME in one or more security domains. • Communicate and influence at an executive level. • Manage high complexity programs of work. Key Responsibilities include: • Actively collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise and domain architects, engineers, delivery teams, product vendors and partners to define and operationalise appropriate security controls within solution architectures that protect business and customer information, systems and network assets. • Drive assessments and evaluations of emerging security capabilities to ensure architectural standards and capability roadmaps remain current and are business objective aligned. • Define and document re-usable assets such as standardised security requirements and corresponding solution patterns that can be readily applied to avoid rework. • Input into the creation and governance of security strategy, standards and frameworks to ensure a coherent and optimised overall security architecture that aligns with customer's security policies and standards. • Define security solution architectures and document corresponding business and security impacts. Contribute to Requirements, Solution Impact Assessments, High Level Designs, Solutions Briefs, Solution Architecture Definitions and Security Risk Assessments. • Identify and eAectively communicate security risks to business stakeholders in a timely manner - harvesting and harmonising insights from all relevant areas including privacy, legal, engineering and operational stakeholders. • Foster strategic relationships across industry and technology vendors to anticipate and plan for emerging opportunities and threats. Utilise this expertise to support innovation and security consultation to business units, partners and customers. • Mentor and be a role model for new and existing Security Architects and candidates on secondment including shadowing, process guidance and providing feedback. • Create and maintain reusable security architecture design patterns and guidelines. • Trusted advisor that provides guidance across security domains. • Handles complex initiatives while simplifying them to support eAective execution.
