We are building a casual pool of occupational therapists for our aged care and home care clients, with a caseload built around functional independence, home safety and keeping people living well at home for longer. Assessments happen where people actually live, not in a clinic room.
Being upfront about timing: this is casual pool recruitment. Our aged care application is still in progress, and services in that stream cannot commence until it is approved, so we are not able to give you a firm start date — that decision is not ours to make. Work may not begin for some months. What we are doing now is recruiting, screening and inducting people so that when approval comes through you can start promptly rather than waiting another six weeks on paperwork.
There are no guaranteed hours and no fixed roster at this stage. Joining the pool commits you to nothing, you are free to hold other work while you wait, and you can decline shifts that do not suit you. If you need guaranteed hours starting immediately, we would rather tell you now that this is not the right role for you. Some casual shifts may become available sooner through our existing NDIS services, though please do not apply on the assumption of immediate work. We will keep you posted on where the application is up to either way.
