Dental Assistant
Petersham Dental Practice is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team.

About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
- Providing excellent patient care and ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient clinical environment
- Stock control and general surgery duties
- Assisting with basic reception duties, including:
- Answering telephone enquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Processing patient payments
- Greeting and assisting patients
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred)
- Be enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
- Be organised with excellent attention to detail
- Thrive in a busy environment and work well under pressure
- Be reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
- Be flexible with working days and hours
- Have a strong commitment to patient care and infection control standards
Experience with dental software Dental 4 Windows is an advantage but not essential.
