Property Management Assistant – Field & Leasing Support

Hatch Real Estate is a boutique property management and sales agency based in Brisbane. We are looking for a reliable, practical and detail-focused person to join our property management team in a hands-on field and leasing support role.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being out on the road, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build a long-term career in property management.
You will be supporting our property management team with inspections, leasing activity, maintenance checks, access arrangements and day-to-day field support. Properties are located across Brisbane and nearby suburbs, so the role involves regular travel depending on inspection and field work requirements.
About the role
Your duties will include:
- Conducting routine inspections
- Assisting with entry and exit inspections
- Attending rental open homes
- Managing key runs and access arrangements
- Meeting trades onsite when required
- Taking maintenance photos/videos and reporting back clearly
- Checking completed maintenance works
- Assisting with inspection attendee records
- Supporting basic leasing and application administration
- Helping with move-in readiness and property presentation
- Updating the team with clear notes, photos and follow-up items
This is a hands-on role and an important part of our property management service. You will often be the person seeing the property firsthand, so accuracy, reliability and common sense are essential.
About you
You will be:
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Good with photos, notes and mobile apps
- Clear and professional with tenants, trades and team members
- Practical and observant when inspecting properties
- Able to follow systems and processes
- Interested in property management as a long-term career
- Comfortable travelling across Brisbane and nearby suburbs as required
Real estate, leasing or property management experience will be highly regarded, but we are also open to training the right person with the right attitude.
Requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Smartphone
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to travel across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs
A real estate registration certificate would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
Role structure
This role may suit either:
- Full-time; or
- 3/4 days per week for the right candidate
There is potential for the role to grow into an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager pathway over time.
