About the Role
We are seeking a senior OT / IT-OT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to support the modernization, security, integration, and separation of Operational Technology environments across manufacturing operations.
The role will focus on OT architecture, industrial networking, IT/OT integration, cybersecurity, network segmentation, infrastructure migration, and secure manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support secure OT architecture for industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Support integration between enterprise IT and Operational Technology systems.
- Design and maintain industrial network architecture and connectivity.
- Implement network segmentation, VLANs, firewalls, access controls, and secure remote-access solutions.
- Assess OT cybersecurity risks and recommend appropriate remediation.
- Support industrial switches, routers, firewalls, servers, virtual infrastructure, and network services.
- Support connectivity for PLC, SCADA, HMI, historian, MES, and other manufacturing systems.
- Assist with cybersecurity hardening and vulnerability remediation across OT environments.
- Support system migrations and separation from legacy infrastructure.
- Develop current-state and target-state OT architecture.
- Coordinate with corporate IT, plant engineering, automation, cybersecurity, infrastructure, vendors, and OEM teams.
- Support testing, migration, commissioning, cutover, and stabilization.
- Maintain network diagrams, asset inventories, architecture documents, SOPs, and cybersecurity documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–15 years of IT/OT, industrial infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity experience.
- Strong experience in OT networks and industrial control-system environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network segmentation.
- Experience integrating PLC, SCADA, HMI, historian, MES, and related manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and OT security frameworks.
- Experience with brownfield manufacturing infrastructure and migration programs.
- Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST, Purdue Model, or similar OT cybersecurity frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management, and project-delivery skills.
