Personal Care Support Worker – Female Client (Cerebral Palsy)
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and physically capable Support Worker to provide one-on-one care for a younger female client living with cerebral palsy.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's daily life while providing respectful, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Assisting with transfers and providing physical support, including occasional manual lifting (appropriate training and safe lifting techniques are essential).
- Meal preparation and light household duties related to the client's care.
- Community access and companionship.
- Supporting the client's independence, wellbeing, and daily routines.
About You:
- Caring, patient, and dependable.
- Physically capable of assisting with transfers and occasional lifting.
- Experience supporting people with disabilities is preferred but not essential for the right person.
- A Filipino background would be welcomed, as the client is Filipino and shared cultural understanding may be beneficial, but this is not a requirement. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (if required), or willingness to obtain.
