The RACP is undertaking a significant transformation program which is designed to enhance member value, modernise core systems, and build the digital and data capabilities needed to thrive in a changing health and education landscape.
The Digital Program Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of the Member Experience work stream within the transformation program. The role will lead the redevelopment of our member facing digital systems, ensuring successful deployment, adoption and business value realisation, including the improvement of services and experiences provided to our members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of multiple digital initiatives (CMS, portal, system integrations, digital content).
- Identify and manage dependencies within the Member Experience stream and within the broader Transformation Program.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes effectively throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure the capabilities needed to enable the business case benefits are delivered
- Transition solutions into business as usual, ensuring appropriate handover to operational teams.
- Work with the Change Team to develop and implement change management strategies, that build capability, drive adoption of new processes and technologies, and ensure business readiness through training and assessments.
- Act as a change agent by engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Lead the execution of the Member Experience work stream by supporting the Program Director to successfully deliver the business case benefits.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships by engaging executives, board, and partners, clearly communicating objectives and progress, addressing concerns, and facilitating forums to ensure alignment, input, and commitment.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the Member Experience work stream.
- Prepare and present regular implementation status reports
- Effectively manage and secure budgets, personnel, technology, and external resources
- Support the delivery of appropriate technology in alignment with the approved technology architecture.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of current digital technologies (SEO, Enterprise CMS, DXP, web development, personalisation and analytics, integration with CRM, ERP and Finance).
- Proven experience embedding change management during technology implementations.
- Hands-on experience delivering large-scale digital implementations, including system integration, data migration, and cutover.
- Experience with benefits tracking and realisation against a business case.
- Experience transitioning programs and projects into BAU operations and supporting capability uplift.
- Deep experience in Agile and Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of risk, highly developed skills in contingency plans to ensure program outcomes are achieved.
- Proven ability to offer innovative solutions to complex issues.
- Experience in managing budgets; and in developing a budget and delivering against that budget.
- Understand financial reports, financial concepts, and the financial implications of business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, people management and relationship skills; to inspire and lead.
- Uses expertise to act as the authority on planning, organising, prioritising and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
