About the West Region Delivery Team
The West Region Delivery Team is a Joint Venture between Abergeldie, Fulton Hogan, Stantec, Atlas and Programmed working in partnership with Sydney Water to deliver one of Australia’s largest infrastructure programs.
Operating as one integrated team, we bring together the expertise and capability of five industry-leading organisations and a workforce of close to 800 people across the program.
About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team in Sydney Olympic Park. This is a true generalist role, partnering closely with leaders and delivery teams across the Joint Venture providing both strategic and hands on HR support. Day to day you will;
Provide practical HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
Work closely with delivery teams to implement key people initiatives.
Build strong relationships across the Joint Venture, working effectively across different employing organisations, policies and people frameworks to support a consistent employee experience.
Partner and coordinate with Joint Venture employing organisations HR teams on performance, conduct and employee relations matters.
Conduct regular site visits to build relationships, understand team needs, and address people related queries.
Provide advice and support on workforce planning, succession, talent and employee engagement.
Use workforce insights to inform decision-making and identify emerging people and workforce priorities.
What you’ll bring to the team
You are an experienced People and Culture Business partner who builds credibility quickly and works effectively with both leaders and delivery teams. You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, balancing competing priorities and translating people strategy into practical outcomes. You will bring:
Strong experience as a People and Culture Business Partner ideally within construction, infrastructure or similar project delivery environment.
Experience working across joint ventures, alliances, matrix organisations or similarly complex environments.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence across all levels.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder and employment environments, working collaboratively across multiple organisations while maintaining a whole of program perspective.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance people outcomes and business priorities.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
