About Us
GoBoat started in Copenhagen in 2014 and launched in Australia in 2017. GoBoat Australia is proudly Australian owned and continuing to expand across the country. We’ve served around 100,000 guests already in our first few years of operation. We offer urban planners, governments and property developers the opportunity to revitalise under-utilised waterways with a safe, family-friendly, instagrammable experience! All our boats are electric, meaning they’re an eco-friendly way of exploring the water. GoBoat contributes to improving local waterways by regularly patrolling and collecting rubbish, too!
GoBoat offers great training, and the flexibility to work around school, university and other commitments.
We're on the search for someone who has a Coxswain Grade 3 boat licence or willing to obtain one once hired (We will help with this process) and someone who has spent time in customer service roles/hospitality. Weekend availability is a must, with scope for mid-week work as well.
We pay Award rates, plus a free GoBoat rental per month for every crew member.
Working at GoBoat as a Casual Crew Member involves:
* Assisting guests with boarding & alighting the GoBoat vessels
* Using computers to check guests in on arrival
* General cleaning and tidying of the GoBoats before bookings
* Delivering safety briefings & demonstrations to guests
* Perform on water assistance to customers if needed (Once trained in that area)
* Setup & packdown of boats at the beginning/end of operating days
* Working closely in a tight nit team of like minded individuals
* Making a positive contribution to our environment by minimising waste, and even patrolling the water for rubbish!
