Adams & Rofe Removals & Storage is a trusted and growing removals and storage company based in Sydney. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Removalist Driver to join our team.
We also welcome owner-drivers with their own removal truck or container truck with OR without trailer who are interested in working with us as subcontractors.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving residential and commercial relocation's, driving removal trucks and container trucks, operating a forklift, and assisting with warehouse and storage operations. You will be working alongside a professional team committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive removal trucks and container trucks safely and efficiently.
- Complete local and interstate furniture removals.
- Load, unload, wrap, and secure household and commercial goods.
- Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and warehouse duties.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Adams & Rofe Removals & Storage.
- Work effectively as part of a professional removals team.
Essential Requirements
- Current HR Driver Licence.
- Current LF Forklift Licence.(PREFERRED)
- Previous experience in the removals industry.
- Experience driving container trucks.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
