What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Principal Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to lead a team of safety professionals and support a high-performing, safety-focused organisation.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and driving both strategic and operational safety outcomes. You’ll lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of safety management plans, policies and procedures, partnering closely with business units to embed these in practice.
Working across the Fraser Coast region, this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who enjoys developing others, building capability and driving operational excellence.
What your day will look like:
- Driving the development and implementation of contemporary safety strategies and initiatives
- Providing trusted, strategic advice to stakeholders, including safety representatives
- Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Safety & Wellbeing Business Partners
- Overseeing assurance and compliance activities, including audits, inspections and observations
- Leading internal audit programs and supporting regulatory inspections

What you’ll need for success:
- AQF 5 Diploma in Work Health and Safety with significant experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Well-developed organisational, time management and problem-solving capabilities
