About the role
The Administration Manager leads the corporate support services for the Division of Paediatric Medicine, ensuring the Division operates efficiently and effectively. The role provides strategic and operational support to Directors, drives key initiatives, and serves as an important link between the Division, WCHN and SA Health.
Key duties of the role
Manage and provide human resources and financial services effectively by providing leadership, direction, guidance, support, and supervision to the team
Monitor staff performance, manage recruitment and employee professional development activities
Contribute to the strategic direction by managing emerging issues, improving business processes, and ensuring policy compliance.
Coordinate and oversee new initiatives aligned with the organisation’s Digital Strategy
Liaise with Divisional Business Manager to develop business cases for new administrative initiatives
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in an administrative management role
Demonstrated experience and ability to work successfully within a multi-disciplinary environment whilst developing and managing staff
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop staff and create a positive, harmonious work environment
Experience in performance monitoring and quality improvement related to health service delivery
Proven experience in initiating and managing change
