Retail Assistant – Zeneldins IGA
Zeneldins IGA is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Retail Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in keeping the store looking great and is happy to help wherever needed.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Serving customers and operating the register
- Filling shelves and maintaining stock levels
- Assisting with fresh produce, including filling, rotating and presenting stock
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Checking product dates and rotating stock
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented displays
- General cleaning and store presentation
- Assisting with promotional displays and ticketing
- Helping across different areas of the store as required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail
- Is comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting cartons and filling shelves
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Has flexible availability, including some weekends
- Has previous supermarket or retail experience — preferred, but not essential
