Experienced Remedial Waterproofer

We specialise in remedial waterproofing, protective coatings, concrete remediation and technical asset protection solutions, delivering high-quality workmanship backed by strong systems, experienced project management and clear communication.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Remedial Waterproofer to join our team.

About the Role
Working across commercial, industrial and government projects, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial waterproofing works to the highest standard while working alongside a skilled and supportive team.
This position will commence as a casual role for an initial three-month period, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position based on performance, reliability and team fit.

- Commercial buildings
- Multi-storey residential developments
- Shopping centres
- Schools
- Government facilities
- Civil infrastructure
- Industrial facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of remedial waterproofing systems across a variety of substrates
- Surface preparation including grinding, scarifying, cleaning and concrete repairs
- Application of sheet membrane, liquid membrane, cementitious and polyurethane waterproofing systems
- Crack injection and remediation works (desirable)
- Joint sealing and detailing
- Reading and interpreting project specifications and drawings
- Identifying defects and recommending suitable remedial solutions
- Ensuring works are completed to Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
- Liaising professionally with clients, builders and project managers
- Supporting apprentices and junior team members where required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in remedial waterproofing
- Sound knowledge of waterproofing systems and application methods
- Experience working on commercial construction sites
- White Card (mandatory)
- Current Driver Licence (mandatory)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Australian working rights
The following would be highly regarded:
- Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing (or equivalent experience)
- Working at Heights
- EWP Licence
- Confined Space
- First Aid
- Experience with protective coatings and concrete remediation
- MR Licence
Interstate travel may be required from time to time.

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour

- Trade Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
