We are seeking motivated and engaged Risk and Intelligence Officers to join our Compliance and Engagement group. You will be a reliable professional who applies well developed skills and judgement to deliver high quality outcomes under limited direction. You will work collaboratively, contribute to team objectives, and apply APS Values while demonstrating initiative, analytical capability, and accountability within established frameworks.
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our group in a variety of roles.
In these roles, you’ll apply established frameworks to analyse, interpret and synthesise more complex information and data. This includes identifying and communicating risks, trends, threats and opportunities, and prepare high-quality outputs to support both operational and strategic decision-making. You’ll exercise sound judgement in prioritising work, identifying issues and managing escalation, while building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships to support coordinated outcomes.
As a Risk and Intelligence Officer, you will undertake integrated risk and intelligence activities, drawing connections across datasets and insights to develop a more complete understanding of issues. You’ll generate actionable intelligence-informed risk insights and contribute to coordinated products that support decision-making across business areas.
As a Risk Officer, you will independently apply risk management frameworks to identify, assess and treat risks. You will analyse more complex risk information, contribute to the development of treatment strategies, and support the refinement of risk models and methodologies, including providing recommendations based on your analysis.
As an Intelligence Analyst, you will independently undertake intelligence functions across the intelligence cycle. You’ll apply structured analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends and anomalies, and produce high-quality intelligence products and assessments to support operational and strategic outcomes.
