A busy and growing public school canteen located in Broome WA, serving quality, brunch and lunch to loyal local students and teachers.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable person to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is ready to take on additional responsibility within the kitchen.
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will help daily operations, maintain food quality standards and support the management of the kitchen during busy service periods.
Your duties will include:
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Stock rotation, labelling and storage.
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure efficient and consistent service during busy periods.

Certificate I, compulsory secondary education OR a short period of on-the-job training.
must have experience Japanese cuisine more than 12months
Responsibilities;
Assists kitchen and service staff in preparing and serving food, and cleans food preparation and service areas.
