Full job description
We are looking for an experienced and caring Allied Health Assistant for Speech and OT to support our clients ( Kids aged 2-15 years ). Therapies need to be provided at Participant's Home, School and Kinder based in western suburbs ( Williams Landing, Werribee, Tarneit and Truganina ). Preferred willing to work after school hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with therapy and work on AHA Plans prepared by Registered Professionals.
- Follow instructions from Speech and occupational therapists.
- Maintain client safety, dignity and confidentiality.
- Complete basic documentation and report client progress.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant.
- Experience in disability, aged care, rehabilitation or healthcare is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, caring and professional attitude.
- Relevant AHA qualification and First Aid/CPR ,Driving License, Working with Children check, Ndis Screen Check are desirable.
