The General Practitioner plays a a key role in delivering holistic, culturally safe, and patient-centred primary health care services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Goldfields region .
General Practitioner with FRACGP/ FACRRM and a person who holds a current registration as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration .
Essential
- Unrestricted Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Practitioner.
- Possess Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM: comparable country equivalent.
- Understanding of Aboriginal Culture, values and health issues, social determinants
- Awareness of AGPAL standards and requirements for maintaining General Practice Accreditation.
Provide Bega Garnbirringu Health Services with the following requirements prior to commencement of employment:
- Valid Working with Children Check (WA)
- National Criminal History Check Certificate ( Police Clearance -valid within 3 months)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid & CPR certficate
