Fresh Futures Hair & Beauty Lounge is seeking a skilled, experienced and customer-focused Qualified Hairdresser to join our professional team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week). We welcome applications from qualified hairdressers currently living in Alice Springs, elsewhere in the Northern Territory, Adelaide, Melbourne and other parts of Australia who are willing to relocate.
Salary: $81,000 per annum + superannuation

About the Role
The successful applicant will provide professional hairdressing services to a diverse client base and contribute to the day-to-day operation of our salon.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with clients regarding hairstyles, hair condition and individual preferences.
- Shampoo, condition and provide appropriate hair and scalp treatments.
- Cut, trim and shape hair using professional hairdressing techniques.
- Blow-dry, style and finish clients' hair.
- Perform hair colouring, highlighting, bleaching and toning.
- Provide appropriate chemical treatments and hair treatments.
- Perform braiding and protective styling where within the applicant's skills and experience.
- Advise clients on hair care, maintenance and suitable professional products.
- Maintain client records and assist with appointment management.
- Maintain high standards of salon hygiene and infection control.
- Clean and sanitise tools, equipment and workstations.
- Assist with stock management, retail products and general salon operations.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- A recognised qualification in Hairdressing, such as a Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification.
- Relevant commercial salon experience.
- Demonstrated competence in cutting, styling, colouring and other core hairdressing services.
- Strong client consultation and customer service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a salon team.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, salon hygiene and infection-control practices.
