About the role
In the position of Teacher Community Services, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of community services professionals. You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant training and assessment, support students to achieve successful outcomes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs. Working collaboratively with colleagues and industry stakeholders, you will develop quality learning resources, maintain compliance with VET requirements, and ensure students receive a positive and supportive learning experience. This role offers the opportunity to share your expertise, foster student success, and contribute to the growth and reputation of TAFE Gippsland.
About you
You are a passionate and experienced Community Services professional who is committed to developing the skills and confidence of future industry practitioners. You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) and possess relevant vocational qualifications and current industry experience within the Community Services sector. You have demonstrated experience planning, delivering and assessing quality training programs, with a strong understanding of Training Packages, compliance requirements, and the National VET Quality Framework. Highly organised and collaborative, you bring excellent communication and digital literacy skills, a student-centred approach, and a commitment to maintaining both your vocational and teaching currency. Most importantly, you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact through education and training.

Mandatory requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent
- Relevant vocational qualification to the level of teaching/assessing
- Minimum 3+ years’ relevant industry experience
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police check (no older than 12 months)
- Current Driver’s Licence
