Maintain a strong presence on site and supporting the delivery team achieve and maintain compliance to the John Holland IMS system
Analyse safety problems and recommend solutions to appropriate manager
Conduct routine HSE inspections, monitoring and analysis of work area
Coordinate investigations of site events when/as required
Assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes
Create, evaluate and administer safety programs for all employees
Monitor compliance with the HSE systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the Project Management Team
Support management and dissemination of information
Survey, evaluate, investigate and gather information that will address inadequacies concerning safety, health and environmental matter
Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of the safety program assigned
Maintain knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including government WHS legislation, standards and policies
Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures to enable the performance of assigned duties in a safe manner
Maintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies, clients and contemporaries to foster the professional image of the organisation
Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
Cert IV in Training & Assessment desirable

Experience in supporting stakeholder groups and teams within area of responsibility such communicating with frontline employees and first line managers
Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development skills as well as monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
