We're Melbourne's destination for the finest ethnic Indian wear and 22ct gold jewellery. We're looking for an experienced sales professional who understands that trust, and knows how to earn it.
Who we're looking for: Retail experience (3+ years), cultural fluency with South Asian fashion and jewellery, a consultative selling style, and someone driven to grow store sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers warmly and professionally.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on Indian ethnic wear to help customers make informed decisions.
- Showcase products effectively, highlighting features and explaining the quality and craftsmanship of each piece.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash and credit card payments.
- Assist with visual merchandising to ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in jewellery or luxury goods.
- Proficiency in Hindi, Punjabi or Gujarati.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of handling valuable merchandise responsibly.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Full-Time must have full availability across weekdays and weekends. You will work on a rotating roster, where weekend work is expected.
We are also recruiting part time and casual staff.
