This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas

What you'll be doing
The Hospital Assistant role provides support to the nursing team in the delivery of patient care as directed by nursing staff and general assistance in wards.

About the Menindee Health Service
Menindee is beautiful little community on the banks of the Darling River and is surrounded by the spectacular Menindee Lakes. The Menindee Health Service is a busy Primary Health Clinic with an Emergency Department as well. We provide chronic disease, community and primary health care services to the community, as well as facilitating a range of visiting services. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
