Your key responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Principal Project Officer and Manager PMO, provide program oversight for the coordinated planning and implementation of budgetary and financial reporting for initiatives outlined in the MHAOD services plan.
Maintain oversight over the program budget to provide financial accountability and good governance, including monitoring, reporting and reconciliation of expenditure to deliver the work program across multiple workgroups and divisions.
Establish, implement, advocate and maintain processes for monitoring and reporting on financial reporting for projects delivered through the MHAOD services plan, reporting against investment, governance requirements, progress and achievements, benefits realisation and contribution to strategic objectives.
Role fit
The essential requirements for this role are:
Knowledge of best practise project management techniques and the demonstrated ability to successfully apply that knowledge in a complex healthcare environment.
Demonstrated working knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of financial management policies, standards and systems as they apply to the mental health alcohol and other drugs sector and broader Queensland and national healthcare landscape.
Demonstrated communication and writing skills, including the preparation of complex documentation, briefs etc, tailoring communication styles and delivery method to the audience requirements while maintaining open communication, keeping all stakeholders informed.
