Established in 2010, SAE Group is an Australian owned and operated Master Electrician business specialising in energy efficient solutions for homes and businesses. We are one of the largest solar installers in the country, with locations spanning Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Western Australia. Our warehouse keeps every project moving, and we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead it.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of our purchasing, warehousing and maintenance processes. You will plan and run the daily operations of the stores and yard, build strong supplier relationships, and coordinate deliveries so our project teams always have what they need.
Please note our warehouse is currently located in Meadowbrook and will be relocating to new premises a short distance south in the near future.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning daily load outs, job assignments and priorities for stores staff
- Managing stock control including storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods, with accurate records maintained in Fishbowl
- Receiving and receipting purchase orders
- Coordinating transport and logistics operations with suppliers, transport companies and contractors
- Conducting regular stocktakes and maintaining the asset register for tools, equipment and consumables
- Setting and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Evaluating warehouse layout and space management, including pallet racking compliance and statutory requirements
- Ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and Australian Standards across all warehousing operations, including hazardous substances
- Supervising personnel in the workshop and yard, ensuring PPE use and safe work practices
- Maintaining housekeeping and security across the stores, yard and building
- Driving cost reduction and continuous improvement across stores processes
About you

Current forklift licence
- Heavy vehicle licence
- Solid knowledge of warehousing operations
- Experience with inventory or job management software (Fishbowl experience is a bonus)
- High level of drive and a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team focus and the ability to motivate staff
