Better and fairer care. Always.
For more than 175 years, St Vincent’s Care Services has been a leading Catholic provider of aged care services in Australia and the legacy of compassion, justice, integrity and excellence entrusted to us by the Sisters of Charity and their Founder Mary Aikenhead continues to inspire our work today.
You will be joining St Vincent’s as we develop an exciting new vision Bringing Care Home, which will take the best of St Vincent’s care beyond our hospitals and aged care homes directly into the homes of our communities across the country, making care more personal and accessible. Bringing Care Home is more than a strategy. It’s how we’ll deliver care that is better, fairer, and more connected – for everyone we serve.
Reporting to the Acting Head of Service Delivery and Governance Unit, the Capability and Learning Business Partner is a pivotal national role. A deeply rewarding and significant portion of this position involves collaborating with, engaging, and supporting our diverse frontline staff, including our nursing and care teams.
This permanent, full-time role is available immediately on a hybrid working arrangement (mix of working from home, office and our aged care homes). It is primarily based across our Queensland residential aged care homes, requiring regular travel across our extensive national network. We are also open to considering candidates based near our aged care homes in New South Wales and Victoria for the right applicant.
You will own the scope, design, delivery, and evaluation of quality face-to-face and virtual Care Services learning programs across Australia. While there are no direct reports initially, you will have the future opportunity to mentor and develop a small team as the function grows.
About The Role:
Confidently engage and connect with nursing, clinical, and care staff to deliver meaningful learning experiences that position St Vincent's as an employer of choice
Facilitate remote, virtual, and face-to-face learning programs across our national facilities, with a willingness to travel as required
Use best-practice learning methodologies to build engaging, blended learning solutions using Articulate Rise, Canva, and multimedia
Translate the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards into practical learning roadmaps and coordinate the Care Services Mandatory Learning Matrix
Act as the Care Services functional lead/administrator for Workday Learning, building curricula, driving data quality, and managing audit readiness for ACQSC and NDIS frameworks

Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery environment, with the capacity to manage remote/virtual learning and travel locally and interstate to deliver in-person sessions
Familiarity with Workday Learning (or a similar major LMS) alongside the data literacy required to interpret learning analytics for continuous improvement
A Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, Organisational Psychology, or a related field or qualified by relevant experience
Things that work for you:
Opportunity to work for the nation’s largest Catholic not-for-profit health and aged care provider, with a rapidly growing and progressive vision
