About The Role:
We are currently seeking multiple Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a permanent part time basis in Taree. These roles involve working across our supported accommodation services providing high‑quality, person‑centred support to our customers.

You will support customers to build skills and maintain independence by providing respectful, person-centred care, using safe manual handling techniques, assisting with daily tasks and community access, and fostering positive relationships that help them achieve their goals.

About You:

Here’s what will help you shine in this role:

A flexible approach to work — you are happy to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

Minimum of 12 months’ disability sector experience. Applicants with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply and will be highly regarded.

Experience supporting participants with complex care needs, including catheter care, bowel care, diabetes management, and acquired brain injury (ABI).

Experience working in Supported Independent Living and providing personal care, including meal time management plans.

Demonstrated experience in managing behaviours of concern, administering medication, and following medication management protocols.

Sound knowledge and practical experience in manual handling, use of wheelchairs, and ensuring safe transport practices, including van safety.

The ability to stay calm, think quickly, and provide steady, confident support — even when things get challenging.

A positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals.
