Crescendo Music is looking for an organised and reliable person to manage the movement of stock into, around and out of our building.
This role is responsible for coordinating the overall stock process. You will have staff available to assist with unboxing, moving cartons and other physical tasks, but you will be expected to organise the work, assign tasks and make sure everything is completed properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming supplier deliveries
- Ensure stock is moved to the correct showroom, stockroom or storage area
- Coordinate staff assisting with unboxing and moving products
- Maintain tidy and organised stock and receiving areas
- Manage delivery paperwork and stock-related emails
- Follow up with suppliers regarding missing, damaged, faulty or returned goods
- Liaise with Australia Post and other delivery providers
- Pick, pack and dispatch online orders
- Occasionally drive the company van for local deliveries or stock collection
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory checks
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident coordinating tasks and directing other staff
- Reliable and able to follow issues through to completion
- Comfortable using email, paperwork and computer systems
- Able to work around cartons, stockrooms and product deliveries
- Confident driving a commercial van
Previous experience in stock control, logistics, warehousing, retail operations or online order fulfilment would be highly regarded.
Experience with Shopify would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Good communication and computer skills
- Ability to safely lift and move reasonable-sized cartons and products
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
