About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trainee Childcare Educator to join our vibrant team at the Little VIPs Child Care Early Education Centre in Lynwood, WA. This is a part-time role, providing you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the childcare industry while working towards your formal qualifications.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting experienced Educators in providing a nurturing, engaging and safe learning environment for children aged 0-5 years
- Participating in the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate educational activities and programs
- Observing and documenting children's progress and development
- Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Developing positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Undertaking ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- A willingness to learn and a proactive approach to your own professional development
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
- A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
