About the Role
You will assist in preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes, maintaining food quality standards, and working as part of a professional kitchen team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen or chef experience, preferably in an Italian restaurant, OR
- Currently studying Commercial Cookery and holding a valid Student Visa
- Passion for food and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
